uploading an avatar
A few people were having difficulty doing this. Just a quick guide. Follow the pink Links
click profile
click on edit avatar
click on browse and select where the pic is. It says 64 by 64 pixels so make sure you resize the pic or you will be having problems. I use photoshop.
That should be it

Please do not have avatars that are too flashy as they become very distracting.
If the image is larger than 100px x 100px in height or width, or larger than 25kb it will not be uploaded. To reduce the size of an image please see this website http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/ (thanks to Grub for this link) **

Birthdays
Member Birthday Congratulations should be posted in the Off Topic Forum. This is for a few reasons.
1) - it is Off Topic
2) - it is relevant to members only
3) - It could allow identity theft if the info was to get into the wrong hands.
The birthday bar in the Board Index, which is where members are seeing the member birthday advertised, is only visible to logged in members, and only becomes public knowledge once someone has posted a topic on the Main Forum.
Please if starting this type of topic, create it in the Off Topic area, or it will be moved by Moderators.
Cheers
