Yes that will work, but not the way I took the pic. As I don't have a tripod the camera was nearly 30 feet from the palm on the lounge window sill. I had the flash set to high power, but at that distance in bright sunlight the effect was minimal. I then cropped the picture just to show the palm so the appearance is that the subject was a lot closer than it realy was. :roll:
