Good, I dunno what form it is, but it's certainly one of the hardier types and makes huge leaves into the bargain. I've got a couple from several years ago and could do with a few more. Focus is closing down here, so I'd better get my skates on.

There sold as food in the Asian shop Edoes Coco Yam or Dasheen you can buy a bag for 2 squid Edoes Dasheen are types of Colocasia Esculenta .But the large Yam is a vine not a Colocasia .There must be about 8 Asian Shops in Southampton i have some from last year .They need alot of heat an water in the growing season .

Same here, got three for 42p as the girl rang them up as potatoes instead of Eddoes! Complete bargain and they are sprouting nicely in some damp coir.

Mine have sprouted all over, just kept them in a bag in the airing cupboard. Most potted up now though and in a greenhouse :o
