My youngest son loves palm trees and has also started collecting cacti he's only 7 !!
Re: bit of a sad question to ask on a forum, but anyways!..
Newmi thats wonderful, another gardener in the family, cacti are such a fun and interesting plant for little ones, today in Homebase they had all sorts of little cacti really sweet for bargain prices. Encourage his passion, in time it will grow just like his little plants

Anything aslong as it has a pulse then Ste? By the time you get to my age - u`ve seen it all and done it all and seeing a garden swamped with tropical plants glowing in the sunlight is the most beautiful thing ever!
Methinks i`ve aged too quick.
Was all those years of going to raves
