If this winter were a football match I suppose you'd call it 1-1 after 80 minutes, it's really difficult to discern where this is going, whether we are crawling towards a cold winter, or a milder/average winter. I can see the argument for a colder winter start, I do see the justification in calling a cold winter/start. I also see justification in calling a milder winter.
I am at a loss really to tell where this might go.
4 below average winters will get me asking questions.. I'd be a little more concerned if it happened.
