Frost likely up here on Sunday night.

It will only be early March though, so not unexpected.

To be honest though I would love a good run of -5Cs and barely above freezing during the day to dry up some of the yucky mud around here, squelch, squelch!

No problems here tonight. Some frosts look very likely this time next week maybe even some snow.
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.

I will be watching the weather very carefully over the next few weeks as some of the coldest nights of the winter will often occur in southampton.

As i live in a frost hollow I have to be even more vigilant?

rgds billdango.

Well maybe it's just me then! I was right, frosty on the car this morning. Lowest temp was 0.1 degrees. Others will have had it worst. Already 5 degrees now.

I think we/our plants should be fine. Although its going to cool down into next week with some frosts I don't think they will be serious and with the strength of the sun now the temps soon rebound into the positive.

I only dragged a couple of pots out so only take a few seconds to put back in again. I never get stuff out until nearer april.
