there must be some competition he can enter his garden into?
I've entered a competition of the official Tomb Raider Forum. It's called "By Hand" and predominantly features drawings, over 300 entries.

One person has picked my entry in first place so far but most of the voters aren't gardenerers and are picking the ntries with the biggest tots instead.

About time we saw some new pics Arlon, you've been fairly quiet of late.

Your place is looking fantastic, it just keeps on improving.

That wasn't allowed because I didn't design/make Lara. I wasn't even allowed to put the TR theme over the pics in the video slideshow I entered.

Here's the voting thread:

Doubt I'll win unless loads of you guys register, vote for me then make 30 posts to reach the required status.

heres mine, bought the house in dec 2010, started the work in the house on 3rd jan 2011, moved in at easter 2011.

i started stripping the garden of everything inc trees, shrubs, overgrown rose bushes in sept 2011 and built a gate, replaced the small patio with decking and sept/oct took 6 48-52ft tall laylandii out of the neighbours garden at the back as we were getting no light at all.
november 2011 built the shed then end march 2012 the ground was levelled, top soiled, sleepers were put in along with the edging between lawn/gravel, and new turf added.

the hoose was 100x worse than the garden, built in 1937, one owner and not touched or updated except a few alterations in that time.

good lad

How did you convince the neighbours to chop their leylandi down? Was the extra light in garden worth the loss of privacy I take it? nice transform anyhow!

ps. did you re-render the walls or just masonry paint?
