So why worry what color the fence if the plants will hide it.........A fence should be felt by a burgler, but not seen by a tropical enthusiast

Must admit, I'm turning mine green with climbing plants! But would go for black if I had a blank canvas again.kata wrote:So why worry what color the fence if the plants will hide it.........A fence should be felt by a burgler, but not seen by a tropical enthusiast
Most wanted list - Any Young Trachycarpus and/or fern.
Re: Photoshop colour my fences anyone?
Our fences are a driftwoody weatherbeaten light brown, but I think I'll go for black when they need doing.

Here's my contribution, James. Only had time to work on one I'm afraid. The fence in your images are a little difficult to work with because of the saturated sunlight. Hope it gives you a fair idea though.

Go black.
Re: Photoshop colour my fences anyone?
i never even thought of black for fences until we bought this house. but searching on the web and comparing black to all other colours, it looks so right with the planting. the fences sort of disappear in black. i previously had the usual greens and browns in my other houses and never thought about anything else really.
the road where we are in now, the fences are either brown or green, so to do black is something different.
when i told our neighbour that the new fence will need treating she asked what colour am i doing it. when i said "black" you should of seen the look on her face "ohhh, the horror of it"!!. she's going for the usual dark brown which is fine, but i think black would look soooooooo much better.
