Plant ID please
Plant ID please
Mr List was asking for an I.D. of this plant being delicately sat upon by a Butterfly, I've no idea what it is as it was bought solely on it's foliage and no other attention was paid to it . I can say though it is very hardy http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid= ... to_comment

Re: Plant ID please
pass it around
I'm at a loss, but some type of relation to Maple might be a start, but certainly not native, with the size of those leaves.
edit: actually isn't it something like the name 'panax' in it.. it's in the family Araliaceae Im sure...
Olopanax? maybe not that, but probably on that line.

Its an Hibiscus, itll come to me later but for now the name escapes me, I have some in the garden here.
Re: Plant ID please
Adrian the leaves look fairly similar to Hibicus mutabilis, and Hibiscus sinosyriacus
If they are Hibiscus, I would never have thought so.. interesting.
