British Summertime Starts Sunday 31st

Don't forget to put your clocks forward an hour.

Even though it's still winteresque outside I'm sure the extra hour of sunlight will give us all a lift.

It is handy having more hours of light in the evening, as it means I can get out in the greenhouse after work!

Just googled it and I was only an hour out, not 22:

http://www.whenis.co.uk/when-is/british-summer-time.php

Clocks go forward at 1am (01:00) rather than midnight (00:oo) Sunday.

They go forward TO 2am not AT 2am so you're also WRONG Coniclock ;)

My clocks will be moving forward one hour either before bed tonight, or more likely, after I get up tomorrow. Officially they go forward at 02:00 on the Sunday Morning, becoming 03:00 Sunday
Best regards

Not according to Wikipedia Dave:
BST begins at 1:00 AM GMT on the last Sunday of March and ends at 1:00 AM GMT on the last Sunday of October; since 2002 the times of commencement and cessation of daylight saving time across the European Union are aligned - for instance Central European Summer Time begins and ends on the same Sundays at exactly the same time (that is, 2:00 AM CET). In 2012, this period was from 25 March to 28 October. In 2013 it will begin on 31 March and end on 27 October.

Some people don't move theirs and stay on GMT all year round.

I used to know of a chap on The Weather Outlook who despised summer and everything about it, including BST, so he used to stay on GMT and was quite proud of it

Summertime is clearly something that just happens to other people.

I think the British became jealous and just deluded themselves by adopting summertime.. it seems to have worked in the psyche, given that 15C with sideways driving rain is a good result for a British summers day
