Quite hot here today with over 35C in the garden. The southeast got the highest temperatures at the official weather stations with a few close to 37C. I have seen lots of 36-38C temperatures at amateur stations and all that places where around the southeast so quite right. Here some clouds came in the early afternoon that made the wind short moment west, wich keeping it "cool" for a while. Still very nice after a very warm night as well (22C). The wind was not warm, but just hot from time to time wich was quite nice :) Forecast gives us a few more warm days 26-30C and then it looks much much cooler.

Wouldn't say smoking hot, but warm yes. In my childhood days of taking records, 25C did happen on regular basis, it was unheard of not to record at least a few 25C in mid-summer, and that was in the worst months. But recently it's been a little different (apart from this July of course)

After stifling in 30c+ with high humidity most of yesterday, the heavens opened in a mother of thunder storms last night!
It's been a while since the weather set off house and car alarms. Only 7mm(thought it was more) of rain but the light show was fantastic
