This is a tropical Banana so suggests it will need a high level of heat to keep it happy. What temperature are you intending to keep it at overwinter?
I struggled with Siam Ruby as it could not hack temps below 10C, or the lack of light in December.

I bought a 10 litre one a few years back but it carked it in 2011, basjoo for me just keep coming back regardless of stem damage, i'm pondering a big 30 litre one at present, I must be a devil for punishment!. karl.

Are you talking about siamensis, or sikkimensis Karl?

I have a glass greenhouse disposal , all my tropical species go there.

I've got one of these in the living room window in a 9cm pot.
Hoping to get it through the winter, just produced a new leaf so all going well
