Edging a curved lawn

I have bricks, did this in a couple of hours, just dig out a trench so they are flush with the grass and bash them in place with a mallet, no mortar. been there 2 years now haven't had to reposition any of them, this pic was when they first went in

Exactly the same as mine.

I do mine around the other way to make a wider break between garden and lawn - but then my "lawn" has more weeds in it than the rather smart one shown!

Nice one will give it a go then....maybe during winter if I get he time/weather. What bricks arw those as I would prefer darker.

I have seen bricks with holes in them, what do we call the ones without a hole.

Likewise, I would not use real bricks, too much danger of frost damage. You can get Concrete block pavers in a wide range of colours

they used to edge my brothers driveway, they have a rounded edge on the top so I used them upsidedown.

I think this would look nice too cut to 2 cobbles width, but not as cheap as free

After your suggestion, I'll be doing this in winter, but the bricks going the other way I think.

You can beat using long handled lawn edgers, as long as you get a nice shape to your grass using these will always result in a top finish.

Until my postman drives over the edge. Beats me why he thinks that's acceptable - too lazy to walk from the entrance he drives to the door, attempts a 3-point-turn and just drives over the lawn squashing the edges
