Some more...
After his yearly haircut before "winter"
Difficult to say how much trunc the Washingtonia is growing, but I would guess something like this hand-saw as all the leafes that were cutted has been from one year.
That's it, hope you enjoyed.

I like that one as well, however it still got burned by the sun. It is located in the most shaded place from the garden, so better then this I can't give.fern Rob wrote:I like the Canna with the variegated foliage .

It has been hardy here, as it survived last horrible winters outside. If the storms did not damaged them badly they where still there, but they were ugly so I cutted them a little down. New shootings are on his way already...fern Rob wrote:That one is on my wish list this year.

Your garden looks fantastic. Very lush and well layered.

Fantastic garden, the Phoenix look better than some here.
Canna Stuttgart nearly always burns on the white parts of the leaves and sometimes reverts back to green but it is a stunning plant.

Looks great. I wish I had more walls to provide heat and shelter on the backs of borders. Plants all look great (no Dutch Buxus hedges?). Am undecided on the yellow color of the edging. It is bright and adds color but reminds me of street paint: double yellow lines
Is that a huge CIPD in the decking area?

I love our garden and photos, very colourful. It's always easy to recognise thanks to those yellow borders and brilliant washy.

What type of Hibiscus is that in picture 6? Your garden looks superb! Do you have a winter update?
