I got an email from Waitrose,

I was'nt buying but Interested how much plants were.

24 in=2foot when I was in school they want £129.99 ........... :ahhh!:

Some places you could buy 2 if not 3 for that price.

£25 per foot is the going rate ? waitrose the shop for the rich :shock:

I paid not inc postage £50.00, bit bigger than two foot last year.

Have to admit Waitrose does seem over pricing stuff.

Bigger than 2ft, are you referring to the overall hight?

How far out does a 2ft tree ferns fronds get? I am after a 2ft one, but unsure...

at a garden centre near me that i visited at the weekend they had ones with about a foot of trunk for £11,99 .
is that a good price ? i was just browsing and fancy one but am waiting til the threat of frost has gone before i start spending out again.

When I had a 2 footer planted under a pergola the fronds were over 6' long. I had to move it in the end and the following year they grew to about 3'.
