Hi Greville, DITTO icon_cheers icon_cheers icon_cheers icon_cheers icon_cheers icon_cheers the only difference is I deferred my pension for 3 years! I now have 3 months to make the difficult decision do I take the lump sum and blow it on something frivolous icon_bounce icon_compress icon_cyclops_ani or go for the increased pension. icon_scratch

Work out how long you have to live to get the lumpsum back if you take the increased pension .Against the reduced pension and having the lumpsum icon_thumleft

Tatter, how does one work out how long one is liable to live!!!!!!

I need to live until I'm 74 to be in profit, the average age in the UK is 82 1/2, so in theory I would be quid's in. icon_cheers However at my age do I throw caution to the wind and buy a 1950 Citroen Traction Avant Light !5 which I have hankered for and drive around like a gangster. icon_thumright Answers on a post card please. icon_bounce

Tatter how did you get the quotes to work they don't do it for me! Do you have to use it differently than before the melt down? Re the car, do you fancy a ride then? They look the mutts nuts, but I seem to remember they are not good on corners. drunken_smilie1
