Front garden make over (Part 1)

Post by JonC »

The Cycas revoluta (larger one) is over six feet tall and shows slight yellowing of the leaves. These are last years leaves and have been through a winter. I was hoping there would be a new set this year, but the plant seems to like to leave a couple of years between leaf production.

Front garden make over (Part 1) - pop the kettle on

I built pyramids over the last few years to over winter the Agaves. This worked well and I haven't had issues. Since I took the first photo I have sourced some nicer polythene that lets in more light. Last year I added Xmas lights for a bit of fun and was pleasantly surprised at how good they looked. I kept the neighbours talking for a bit :-)
