looks great del boy thats definately alot of effort there i hope its enjoyed by alot of people
Re: xmas lights
jezza, i browse with mozilla I figure you do too by your response. IE does show the images but Mozilla needs the plugin to view it. I am not a fan of IE.
Re: xmas lights
Christ Jezza, you take care up on that roof, we don't wont to hear you've fallen off now, but the lights look really great, what sort of sums of money do you raise by doing that the reason I said the above is, nearly everyone who dose things to raise money for charity ends up in hospital costing 1000's to be made better again, we see them all the time, dam fools who jump from planes and charity footy matches, so I hope you use ropes etc keep up the good work, I am glad I don't have to pay your electric bill

Re: xmas lights
lights are amazing deb loves it,drags me round for miles looking at places like those. our local council council have put the mockers on a nearby street where residents used to sort of compete, saying they need health and safety or fire certificates of some sort.would cost them all loads so they dont bother now

Re: xmas lights
it is indeed nick. the whole street took part, featured on gmtv one year.one or two ignore the warnings and put a few up still but nothing like what was. real shame as there are a few hard up families down there that took pride in being able to compete with some of the more well off areas round here.burnham on sea is a place we go sometimes, they have charity boxes nailed to walls etc so why cant nailsea? not looking for replies, just summizing.(if thats the right word?)

Re: xmas lights
Brilliant Delboy. Hats off to you Shame you're so far a way or we'd be round to have a look.
Darren, we had a local council that banned the word Christmas, replaceing it with seasons greetings. There were no town centre decorations to combat climate change, and schools were not allowed to have Christmas trees or classroom decorations.
They suffered a crushing defeat in the Council elections.

Re: xmas lights
Made my last post after briefly looking at the website and thinking you had a lot of lights... but having looked through the Gallery it is a large event, with what looks like a huge turn out, and huge cheques to the organisations at the end.
Well done.
Well done.
Best regards

hi Delboy, Absolutely beautiful xmas light's may i say so, imagine all the smiles and happy faces you will to bring adults especially the children, alot of of effort and time has gone in to this jolly good show delboy
Re: xmas lights
Derek,
Looking at the main lights photo I am guessing you are the house in the centre. That Cordy/palm is crying out for rope lights to be wrapped up it's trunks in spirals. I have seen that done in Madeira and it was rather efective (I can't find a phot right now to demonstrate).
I dread to think what your winter 'lecky bill is!
