MG lawn food is really high in Nitrogen.

I think you could do a lot worse than the Palm Centre's palm fertiliser. I'm adding palm booster as well but I haven't been using it long enough to sing it's praises.The Codfather wrote:So what is a good balanced Fert on the market ?
For big leaved herbaceous stuff I've been impressed with maxicrop or anything with seaweed extract. I was having a conversation about chicken manure pellets the other day on the grounds they allegedly attract rats. Anyone had this problem?

We've been here before re high nitrogen feed, so I'll just post this link to show how you can make your own instead of buying it. We do this but we don't use it on palms, mainly on leafy greens, colocasia, bananas etc.
